Nathan More

About Me

My name is Nathan More and I am a game programmer currently studying Game Design & Interactive Media at UC Irvine. When I’m not working on my game projects, you can find me playing video games with friends, having dinner and a board game night with my family, or binge-watching a show with my fiancée. 

Fun Facts

• I was born and raised in Southern California but had the opportunity to move around a lot within the area, particularly near San Bernardino National Forest.

• I am a lover of nature, and I enjoy hiking, camping, bird watching, and hanging out in a hammock between two trees with a book in my hands.

• My favorite aspects of video games are immersion, progression, and emergent gameplay. I enjoy these elements in many forms across a variety of game genres.

• There are so many games I love, some examples are Dishonored, God of War, Civilization V, Slime Rancher, and many more!

• I also enjoy board games and tabletop roleplaying games such as D&D. I even created my own rules-lite fantasy TTRPG that I used to play with friends. Lately I have been trying out a variety of smaller indie games.

• I have an associates degree in both Computer Science and Mathematics.

• I am the current Design Director for the Video Game Development Club where I lead the Design Department's operations and host workshops for the club on various design topics.

• Anyone who knows me well is aware of my infatuation with pizza in all forms, and my cruel affliction of lactose intolerance.
